With Ebisu consistently scoring in the top three of Tokyo's 'most desirable neighbourhood' rankings, it's no wonder that the local station mall got this huge upgrade: all those trend-hunting out-of-towners need to be accommodated somehow before they start pouring out onto the side streets and actually discovering the area's many hidden treasures. In addition to a full-on renovation at the main Atré building, the complex added this entirely new nine-storey structure in April 2016. Shoppers can empty their wallets at twin luxury supermarkets Seijo Ishii and The Garden Jiyugaoka, as well as at a huge two-floor Muji store. Meanwhile, the edibles come courtesy of Sarutahiko Coffee, Taiwanese dumpling restaurant Din Tai Fung, and Shake Shack, which opened its second Tokyo branch here.
