Long-established shoe manufacturer Whoop-de-doo has opened a new outlet in Asakusa with a modern concept featuring mocktails and shoes. On the first floor you can enjoy non-alcoholic and low-alcohol mocktails like the berry lemonade or the bright green ‘beer’ cocktail while admiring digital artworks by Japanese artist Case-K Moonshine.
Go up to the second floor and you can shop for leather shoes from Whoop-de-do and 2212, which usually sell for around ¥15,000 to ¥25,000 per pair. Shoes can also be custom made for between ¥50,000 and ¥80,000, or even made to order from scratch from ¥270,000 if you want to splash out.
