This place may look like a large room for napping, with the entire floor covered in white mattresses and pillows, but it’s actually a café that serves Japanese-style desserts and meals.
Similar to venues with tatami flooring, you’ll need to take your shoes off before you can lounge around. Try some of the delectable sundaes (¥1,300) stuffed with generous amounts of fresh fruit, or the gorgeous tiramisu (¥1,090) served in a cocktail glass. If you’d rather sit on a chair to tuck into your sweets, a limited number of counter and table seats are available too.
Come here in the afternoon and you can order the delicatessen lunch set (¥1,300), which comes with six small dishes of your choice, plus rice, soup and a drink. The evening menu offers more options, with dishes you’d usually find at a kissaten coffee shop, including omurice (¥1,310) and gratin (¥1,200).
