Tokyo’s version of New York’s Union Square Cafe is offering a seven-course Christmas meal, which starts off with a caviar waffle, tuna tartar and a pear and fennel salad with burrata cheese. Then you’ll be served a silk sweet potato gnocchi with creamy parmigiano cream and truffle shavings.
The main meal is a generous slab of wagyu tenderloin steak and lobster accompanied with a kabocha squash and red wine sauce. Finish it off with a deconstructed strawberry shortcake with Kyushu mascarpone, plus a dollop of pistachio and cassis sorbet.
