Time Out says

From the company behind high-end yakitori restaurant Toriya Kou Ginza comes this more casual and affordable yakitori venue at Shibuya Scramble Square

This stylish restaurant has some serious art credentials with modernised sumi-e (Japanese ink painting) lining the wall. These artworks were created by Japanese artist Kenshin, who has also worked with major brands like Hermes and Lamborghini.

As for the food, lunch starts at ¥1,848 for oyakodon (chicken and egg over rice) or kaikadon (beef and egg over rice), both of which come with a side of miso soup and pickles. For ¥2,068, you get thick slabs of grilled chicken thigh or negima (chicken and green onion) yakitori skewers, plus soboro (seasoned ground meat) over your rice instead.

Visit for dinner and you can choose from three different courses. The lightest option is the Neo course at ¥3,520 that comes with five kinds of yakitori, veggie skewers and a salad. The mid-tier Takumi course (¥6,380) includes a little more with starters like shrimp and avocado bruschetta, plus custard egg pudding for dessert. If you’re really hungry, the Motenashi course (¥7,480) will fill you up. It comes with premium yakitori like duck topped with uni (sea urchin roe) cream sauce as well as your choice of the specialty oyakodon or chicken broth ramen.
