Time Out says

This over-the-top prison-themed restaurant in Shinjuku has so much going on, you’ll forget you’re here to wine and dine. As soon as you step inside the eerily dark room on the seventh floor, you’ll be handcuffed by a staff member dressed in a police uniform, who’ll guide you to your cell where you’ll be ‘locked up’ during your stay.

You’ll find a lineup of foods including pasta, fried chicken, pizza and grilled meat on offer, some of which are made to look like monsters and decorated with prison-themed motifs. And while you’re here, don’t settle for an ordinary lemon sour or a beer – order one of the original cocktails served in beakers, test tubes, syringes and even blood bags.

Make sure to keep an eye on the door while you eat. You’ll be visited by the restaurant’s resident monsters from time to time who’ll try to spook you in between meals.
