Italian restaurants are easy to come by in Tokyo, but few are as distinctive as this lively taverna, which effortlessly recreates the atmosphere – and flavours – of the island of Sardinia. It's probably too noisy for a romantic date, but the offerings from the kitchen – including some stellar seafood dishes – seldom disappoint. Unusually for a Tokyo restaurant, you can also opt to stand at the bar, where you can watch the action in the open kitchen while tucking into a menu of affordable tapas, wine and ¥100 espressos.
