Located about a 10-minute walk from Nishi-Ogikubo Station's south exit and occupying an apartment building from the ’50s, this café rewards those who don't mind a bit of a surprise: the staff (and thus tenants) change between weekday lunchtimes, evenings, Saturdays and Sundays. But whevener you head over, you'll be getting food that's soothing for both the mind and the body, all in a friendly environment. The room behind the café is a therapy room, where you can have acupuncture with a side of shiatsu done, try traditional Thai-style massages and so on. There's also a sento nearby, for which you can get a discount at the therapy room's reception, so if you're looking to treat yourself to a few hours of eating, relaxing and soaking, it's all here in one place. Do note that the therapy room requires advance bookings, and that the day's food offerings are listed on Teineini's website.
