An institution in New York’s fine dining scene, Scarpetta is beloved for its modern, New York-style Italian cuisine. Following expansions across the US as well as London, Scarpetta has finally ventured into Asia with its first restaurant in Tokyo.
Opened in October 2022, the contemporary dining space highlights the best of its New York roots while incorporating a distinctive Tokyo style. The interior is sophisticated and chic. The food is elegant yet unpretentious. Plus, aside from the spacious dining area and bar, the restaurant also offers private rooms for intimate parties and special occasions.
Scarpetta’s menu hasn't changed since opening its first restaurant in New York's Meatpacking District back in 2008. Highlights include Scarpetta's signature handmade spaghetti tossed in a deceptively simple tomato basil sauce (¥2,200), charred octopus (¥3,740), and black cod with fennel and red wine sauce (¥3,520).
Scarpetta Tokyo is also well-poised for an enjoyable night out in the city centre. It’s just five minutes’ walk from either Toranomon Hills or the new Azabudai Hills area. Better yet, the restaurant is directly linked to Kamiyacho Station.
