Settle in for the chef's selection (omakase) of traditional kappo cuisine at one of Roppongi's most exclusive Japanese restaurants, which has built up a steady reputation since opening back in 2011. Sawaichi is particularly well worth visiting for seafood enthusiasts, who'll have a field day with the luxurious crab, abalone and soft-shelled turtle (suppon) dishes. Private rooms with tatami mats are available, but if the occasion allows for it, do consider booking a seat at the counter, chat with the jovial chef and see your artistic dinner prepared mere centimetres away.
