Tucked away from the busy streets of Shibuya, this oyster bar serves its oysters in Italian-style dishes and paired with Japanese sake. This East-meets-West food pairing may sound foreign to some but the staff can help you find the perfect match.
Also called the ‘ocean’s milk’ due to its high nutritional value, the oysters here are sourced directly from the fishermen and delivered fresh every morning from Hokkaido, Mie and Fukuoka prefectures. They can be enjoyed raw from about ¥300 per piece, cooked on a charcoal grill with butter and cheese, or as a topping on the karasuma (dried mullet roe) peperoncino pasta.
