Rocket Chicken Shimokitazawa

Opened in mid-May 2017, Rocket Chicken landed in Shimokitazawa to fire up the local fried chicken scene. Their Rocket chicken is supposed to be dipped into their homemade tartar sauce and then topped with a seasoning such as teriyaki or garlic sauce. Order two, three or four pieces (a lot more than it sounds like) as part of a set meal to eat in, or grab a few pieces to go. If you come with a group, be sure to order more than six pieces – you'll finally understand the meaning of 'Rocket Chicken', as your fried bird will be served skewered upright like, well, a rocket.
