Rituel bakery in Todoroki combines more than 20 kinds of flour with homemade yeast to create its signature hard breads that are baked using traditional French techniques. The versatile organic campagne (¥1,944) is great for toast or sandwiches, while the complet noix and fig (¥734) makes a nice addition to a charcuterie board. Its extensive line up of buttery pastries and white breads are popular, too, with the classic croissant (¥292), spiral raisin escargot (¥346) and sacristain pastries (¥324) being fan favourites.
The shop also has a café for delicious brunch plates like the croque madame (¥1,705), french toast (¥1,485) or open sandwiches with salmon and avocado (¥1,892). For a more substantial meal, there's pasta (from ¥1,815) and a meat sauce lasagna (¥1,815) that, of course, come with Rituel’s signature bread on the side.
