Waseda's Rihga Royal Hotel is jumping on the cherry blossom bandwagon with their own Hanami Fair, which will see the restaurants and bars inside the hotel present limited-edition spring menus for everyone to enjoy. One of the more interesting ones may just be the Hana-Kazari ('flower decoration') set at Chinese restaurant Royal Ryuho, which starts off with a variety of small plates such as sakura shumai dumplings and vinegared pork before moving on to shark fin simmered in soy sauce as the main course. Kaiseki-style Japanese restaurant Naniwa, the Western-style Dining Ferio and the Cellar Bar all offer spring-themed specials as well, so if you're looking for a hearty dose of seasonal delicacies – perhaps after a hanami stroll along the nearby Kanda River – you know where to head.
