Found inside the Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo, this luxurious Italian restaurant is perfect for special occasions, offering gorgeous views of the Tokyo Station area from its 28th-floor perch. Appointed Executive Chef in September 2014, Italian-born Andrea Ferrero bases his contemporary creations on a wealth of experience and a great sense for seasonal vegetables, freely combining textures, colours and tastes. The 300-strong wine list is worth a look, as is the 100-year-old balsamic vinegar.
