Owariya boasts a friendly proprietress, fantastic oden and more than 85 years of history. The selection of oden items is vast, with more than 30 kinds to choose from, while the soup is a rich amber broth that leaves a slightly sweet taste on the tongue. If you're not sure where to start, try the ‘cabbage maki’, a standout item that's made by wrapping ground pork and beef in cabbage leaves for a rich combination of flavours. Pop along in the evening and you can enjoy an excellent selection of other dishes to accompany the oden.
