Treat yourself to an entertaining meal at Tokyo’s stealthy ninja restaurant. From the moment you step in the door, you’ll enter a world resembling a ninjas’ hideout, where these ‘sneaky’ warriors serve you food while performing cool theatrics. Once you find the inconspicuous entrance, you’ll meet a ninja who will usher you through a cave-like labyrinth that eventually opens out to a restaurant disguised as an underground ninja village. Here you’ll find a mysterious pond while dining tables are tucked away at secluded corners.
The lunch and dinner menus (starting from ¥13,200) feature multi-course meals that highlight luxurious ingredients such as lobster, baked turban shells and Omi-Sawai wagyu beef from the southern part of Shiga prefecture. Additionally, the restaurant also offers a vegetarian course (¥13,200) as well as a shinobi course (¥8,800) for children 12 years old and under.
Much of the dining experience here revolves around the restaurant’s showmanship, where each course is accompanied by short ninja acts and tricks. Imagine having your dishes light up in flames or items magically appear on your plate – it’s definitely a feast for both your appetite and your eyes.
If you’re here for an occasion, Ninja Tokyo also offers celebratory cakes, which can be pre-ordered in advance. There are two options: a ninja castle cake (¥4,400) decorated with fresh fruit and whipped cream, and a special Mt Fuji cake (¥7,700) shaped like Japan's iconic mountain.
