Renowned meat supplier Yazawa, the company behind Ebisu burger joint Blacows, runs this Toranomon noodle shop specialising in nikusoba (buckwheat noodles served with fried beef and veg). Their signature dish (¥1,000) is a well-balanced mixture of medium-thick, firm noodles, quality ground beef with a hint of sweetness, and a hearty serving of flavourful green onion. The dish can be upgraded to a larger size for no extra cost – certainly recommended for big eaters, as the standard-sized bowl left us only moderately satisfied. If you're looking for a more varied set of flavours, try the mazesoba (also ¥1,000) with egg, peppers and cheese added to the mix.
