If you can’t make it out all the way out to Moomin Valley Park in Saitama, visit Tokyo’s newest Moomin Cafe located right below the iconic Skytree. The cafe is decked out with Moomin artwork on the wall, and gigantic plushies that will accompany you while you dine. The tasty dishes here are inspired by Northern European cuisine from the author Tove Jansson’s native Finland, including items like beef stew, Finnish-style potato salad and rye bread. Of course, they all come served in bowls and plates adorned with Moomin for an extra cute touch. If you’re a fan of the characters, stop by the shop attached to the restaurant to purchase exclusive Moomin souvenirs.
