Pioneer Saloon, a popular lunch spot on Hawaii's Oahu, is loved by local celebs for its ginger pork, tuna steaks and other Japanese-style offerings. Following in the footsteps of dozens of other successful eateries from the Paradise State, Pioneer's owners have also taken their stuff to Harajuku, operating this restaurant on a quiet side street off Meiji-dori. Monsarrat Brunch Club puts the focus on seafood, including choices like tuna cutlets, mahi-mahi steaks and poke bowls, while chicken and veg options also abound. Kona coffee, acaí bowls and other Hawaiian musts complete the menu. Their plate lunches (from around ¥1,000) are served between 10am and 10pm every day.
