Minmin hails from Osaka and styles itself the originator of pan-fried gyoza dumplings in Japan. Perhaps it's this cachet that allows the restaurant, a bare-bones operation where the simple tables are decorated with festival lanterns, to offer plates of seven gyoza for a mere ¥380 in one of the most expensive parts of Tokyo.
