Menya Shichisai Hatchobori is a sister to a popular noodle joint in front of Toritsu-Kasei Station in Nakano Ward, and moved to this location from Tokyo Ramen Street back in 2015. While Shichisai is famous for their thick, rough, freshly-made ramen noodles, their hiyashi chuka is made with thin noodles instead. With a tomato-based broth, they do a new take on the typical hiyashi chuka dish. Their summer-only version comes topped with thinly cut cucumbers and daikon, a sprinkling of shiso, and rare char siu pork.
