After a successful week of selling matcha at Organic Table by Lapaz in Tokyo last summer, New York's popular (and America's first) matcha bar is coming back for three days in May. Visit their pop-up to get your hands on fresh, ceremonial-grade matcha served iced or hot, straight or in latte form, and sourced directly from a farm in Aichi prefecture's Nishio. MatchaBar are also bringing over their revamped spring menu, which features flavours like iced watermelon basil, white pear and jasmine – good luck finding these elsewhere in Japan. Also consider pairing your caffeine-packed drink with one of the many matcha-flavoured sweets on offer.
