Opened in 1990, Kitajima-tei is a cosy, bistro-style French restaurant serving rustic and hearty food. The gelée of raw sea urchin with consommé and cauliflower cream sauce is especially worth trying. Servings are pretty big, so even the very hungry will be satisfied. Alain Ducasse, the three-Michelin-starred chef, often comes here to eat when he visits Tokyo.
