Time Out says

A store of two halves, during the day King George is a sandwich shop where the focus is on simple, healthy snacks and drinks, while at night it becomes a cocktail bar – and with the owner a former mixer for Moët, you can expect some quality blends. His skills even seep out into the daylight hours, when the iced coffee is shaken, not stirred – a trick that leaves it perfectly chilled with a satisfying frothiness. The set-up is simple: choose your meat, bread and cheese from a short list chalked on a board behind the counter (written in both English and Japanese), and customise with added extras. In the spirit of healthy eating, we opted for the peppered turkey on macrobiotic bread with cheddar cheese – it arrived in a greaseproof paper-wrapped parcel that was packed with slices of peppery meat, fresh, crispy lettuce and a slick of mayonnaise, crammed between two hefty slices of bread. The crust was chewy and satisfying, and the sharp bitterness of the cheddar worked well with the peppery meat. They might be healthy, but portions aren't restricted – you'll have to practically unhinge your jaw to get your teeth around the American-size stacks, and, if that's still not enough, you can go for a lunch set and pad out your meal with a drink and packet of crisps. The airy, minimalist interior makes for a chic summer spot, and there is even a rooftop terrace to enjoy a cocktail or four in the cooler months.
