On the way to Kishimojindo Shrine in Zoshigaya, and right off the street where manga maestro Osamu Tezuka used to live, stands this coffee shop housed in an 80-year-old building. The hand-drip Joe and homemade cakes will satisfy both random passers-by and manga fans on a pilgrimage, while architecture buffs ought to get a kick out of the wellhole connecting the ground floor with the storey above – a rare sight in Tokyo.
