Finding a seat at Ginza's many trendy cafés can be a real challenge, especially on weekends, but you'll hardly ever need to worry about that at Kazuma. In part, the coffee prices are to blame – ¥1,200 for a cup of joe sounds like extortion in anyone's book – but the lack of crowds is also due to this golden oldie's gallery-like surrounds and almost ridiculously quiet atmosphere. If none of the above faults bother you, then you're sure to enjoy the combination of fine hand-drip brews, naivistic Takeshi Kitano art on the walls and fine china lining the shelves behind the counter. You might even spot 'Beat' Takeshi himself: Kazuma is reportedly the comedian-turned-director's favourite Ginza haunt.
