Ichiran Shibuya

One of two locations in Shibuya, this Ichiran outpost is only a two-minute walk from the famous Shibuya Crossing. The Fukuoka-style tonkotsu pork broth ramen is the only ramen on the menu here but the firmness of the noodles, thickness of the broth, spice levels and toppings can all be customised using the order sheet at one of the 21 booths in the restaurant. Each space, referred to as a 'flavour concentration booth', fits only a single customer to encourage solo dining. This branch is open 24 hours, but try to go either very early or very late if you want to avoid queues.
