Hashida, a popular udon noodle shop that was listed in Michelin’s Bib Gourmand guide for three consecutive years closed down in 2018 but recently open up with a new brand, Hashida Taikichi. The shop's menu consists of their signature Hakata-style udon creations at reasonable prices were all noodles are made from scratch daily using wheat from Fukuoka’s Itoshima area. You'll want to slurp up every last drop of soup too, which is made from a combination of high-quality bonito from Kagoshima prefecture and ago-dashi (flying fish dashi) from Nagasaki.
With a friendly and open atmosphere, the new shop offers a large variety of dishes including Hakata-style burdock tempura udon (¥600), zaru udon (¥500), or their enticing shrimp tempura udon (¥1,050) and the Kanda branch-limited soy milk sesame miso udon (¥750).
