The team at LD&K, known for their popular Udagawa Café and many other small-scale eateries and cafés across town, are at it again – this time with a spanking new soba joint at the Tameike intersection in Akasaka. The manager is a massive fan of the late Jamaican singer Gregory Isaacs, and hence decided to name his shop in the Cool Ruler's honour (and play only reggae around the clock). Besides mainstays like kakesoba and chilled tanuki soba, they serve more inventive things like coriander tempura and avocado tempura. Whatever you order, it'll definitely be a very chilled out serving of soba.
