Ushiya Ginbei in Ginza serves some of the finest Kobe and Japanese black beef yakiniku in the city. It might sound expensive, but weekend lunch courses start at the reasonable price of ¥3,800 per person. Go for a hearty sukiyaki hotpot or a yakiniku platter with five or eight cuts of meat, not to mention sides of an appetiser, rice, soup, salad and dessert.
Dinner, on the other hand, starts from ¥10,000 and includes more meaty options such as skirt steak, meat sushi and Kobe beef. Make sure to take a look at the list of wines, too, as they pair well with the different types of meat.
