This small Peruvian restaurant in Yutenji is run by chef Taimei Taniguchi, who has previously worked at prestigious establishments including the renowned Japanese-Peruvian restaurant Nobu in Tokyo. Unlike the fancy dishes he used to cook, Taniguchi whips up humble seafood dishes that are true to Peruvian cooking at El Cebichero.
There’s only one option at the restaurant, which is the ¥4,400 dinner course. It comes with a variety of appetisers including the chef’s speciality ceviche as well as a main dish of your choice. Reservation is required in advance via online or phone (070 4087 4146).
