One of America’s biggest barbecue chains, Dickey's opened its very first shop in Japan just two minutes from Meguro Station. The impressive menu offers eight kinds of barbecued meat, including Texas beef brisket, pulled pork, cheddar cheese sausage and pork ribs, plus classic sides like mac and cheese and creamy spinach.
There’s even American-style chicken wings (not so common in Japan) that come in three flavours: original barbecue, sweet barbecue and Texas hot. Everything here is served on a silver tray, just like they do in its home country.
For first-timers, we recommend the three meat plate (¥1880), which gives you a chance to sample three of Dickey’s meat options, plus two sides of your choice and a buttery bread roll. The voluminous burgers are also worth a mention – you can get them made with brisket (from ¥980), pulled pork (from ¥780) or chicken (from ¥680).
