Chipoon

From the owner and chef behind upscale Ginza restaurant Renge Equriosity, Chipoon is a Harajuku fast food outlet offering a vegan-friendly menu focussed on ramen noodles and burgers. The standard vegan noodle dish (¥700) features a light shoyu based broth flavoured with a dash of salt and lemon, topped with seasonal vegetables. If you opt for a burger, go for the yuba (tofu skin) burger drizzled with special tianmianjiang (sweet bean sauce) mayo (¥480). Takeout is available for most items, making this an excellent meal to take to Yoyogi Park on a sunny day out.
