Helena Hauff burst onto the scene in 2013 with Actio Reactio, released on Actress's label Werkdiscs. That album would change the life of Hamburg-based DJ and producer: since then her agent's phone hasn't stopped ringing. Armed with a sound that veers from dirty acid to electro, she should be well worth catching on Saturday night at Contact, where Hauff will be joined by Sleep is Commercial boss Andrea Ferlin, a purveyor of deep and twisty techno. Sludge-Tapes headman Miclodiet will also be along for the ride.
