To curb the further spread of the Covid-19 Omicron variant, a number of popular Tokyo attractions are temporarily closed from January 11 until further notice. As reported by Kyodo News, so far, the affected facilities are those run by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, such as zoos and aquariums, Japanese and botanical gardens, as well as museums. However, public parks and libraries will remain open.
Check the list of temporarily closed attractions below before you head out.
