While the Go to Travel campaign won't come back anytime soon, there are still quite a few staycation deals in Tokyo. If you’ve been waiting to treat yourself, this might just be the deal for you: four Tokyu hotels in Shibuya are offering rooms for as low as ¥2,667 per night, including weekends, for a limited time.

Until April 30, Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel, Shibuya Stream Excel Hotel Tokyu, Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu and Shibuya Tokyu Rei Hotel are offering a flat rate on selected rooms for solo travellers or groups up to a maximum of four. Since the total cost of a room stays the same even if you've got three friends with you, the cost per person to stay at one of these hotels in the heart of Shibuya can be a real steal.

Starting at the top end, the standard rooms at the luxurious Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel are ¥25,000 per night. The executive rooms on floors 32F to 37F, however, are ¥40,000 per night and they come with breakfast and access to the lounge, fitness club, meeting rooms and free parking. For something more wallet friendly, the rooms at Shibuya Stream Excel Hotel Tokyu are ¥14,000 and Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu are ¥13,000 with sweeping views of the city.

The biggest bargain is at Shibuya Tokyu Rei Hotel, with three-person rooms for ¥8,000 per night, which comes down to ¥2,667 per person if you split it with two friends. Not all the hotels offer three- and four-person rooms, so be sure to check before making plans.

Reservations are first come, first served and they’re strictly limited. You must book at least five days prior to your visit and each stay is limited to three consecutive nights, which is definitely enough time to refresh after being cooped up in a little Tokyo apartment.
