If you feel awkward about communal bathing, good news: the experience just got a lot less intimidating. Everyone’s favourite lazy egg is now hitting the sento (bathhouse) where you can have a relaxing bath with 10,000 Gudetama characters.

Interested? You’ll have to head to Raku Spa Cafe Hamamatsu in Shizuoka or Gokurakuyu in Osaka beginning June 15. As a lead up to the Gudetama bathing festivities, the two venues are already in full-swing egg-mode with other promotions underway, including Gudetama-themed sento merchandise and Gudetama-inspired dishes at each of the spa’s food outlets. Get the cute-looking Gudetama carbonara pasta or the egg-inspired caramel parfait.

Looking to fill your Instagram feed instead of your tummy? You’re in luck. Both venues are decked out in egg-cellent Gudetama decorations, where you can snap a selfie with a large plush egg and other cute memorabilia until June 24.

Gudetama fans, don't miss out on this chance to be an onsen egg. For more information, check the spa's respective websites: Raku Spa Cafe Hamamatsu (Shizuoka) or Gokurakuyu (Osaka).
