As of this afternoon, Typhoon Jebi finally hit mainland Japan, whirling over Osaka, Kyoto and Kobe, where people in the affected areas have been told to evacuate. The strongest storm to hit Japan in 25 years, this typhoon has already caused some serious damage. The seemingly sturdy Kyoto Station had its window panels shattering to the ground, and earlier, monster waves made landfall on Shikoku Island in Kochi prefecture. Kansai International Airport is reported to be flooded, with many flights cancelled.
Here are some of the terrifying videos that captured the horrendous storm and winds that wrecked havoc through the region. If you're in the area, stay safe.
