Oreo cookies aren’t just for your McFlurries anymore. McDonald’s has just announced that for a limited time this spring, it’ll be serving Oreo cheesecake at McCafé by Barista stores across Japan. This new addition of the cheesecake will be accompanied by the return of the super popular Oreo roll cake, which first appeared in December 2019.
Both desserts are sure to be a hit in Tokyo. For the new Oreo cheesecake, a generous layer of cocoa biscuit crumbs adds a pleasant crunch to the decadent cake while the fluffy lemon-infused cream cheese filling makes for an indulgent dessert that's neither too sweet nor cloying.
You can find both the Oreo cheesecake and roll cake at McCafé stores from March 24, though there’s no telling how long they’ll be around for. The cheesecake costs ¥370 while the roll cake is ¥340, but you can also order a ¥500 cake set which includes a coffee to accompany your sweet treat.
