Besides special items that you can only order at McDonald’s in Japan, the fast food chain often offers exclusive toys and fun collectibles in its Happy Meal. Previously, we’ve seen adorable toys from Pokémon, but if you’re a Sanrio fan, you’ll want to visit McDonald’s this December as there will be a range of Hello Kitty mini plushies to collect.

The Sanrio collab comes ahead of Hello Kitty’s 50th anniversary, which will be celebrated in 2024. To mark this grand milestone, McDonald’s is offering 50 different Hello Kitty mini plushies with straps, inspired by various fashion trends and Japanese eras. However, you can’t choose the Hello Kitty you want, as they will be given out at random.

There's plenty to collect, from the OG Hello Kitty with blue overalls of 1974 to the monochromatic black and white Kitty of 1987.

There’s even an adorable Hello Kitty dressed in florals from 1996, and a Kitty designed specifically for the 50th anniversary.
