Following the opening of the world’s first-ever Louis Vuitton café and restaurant in Osaka last year, the luxury giant has now opened a second café in its newly revamped Ginza location. You’ll find Le Café V inside the stunning seven-storey Louis Vuitton flagship store in the Ginza Namiki Building, which is finally complete after a three-year renovation.
The store officially opened its doors on Saturday March 20 and is worth a visit just for the building itself. Designed by renowned architects Jun Aoki and Peter Marino, the stunning exterior is covered in rippling mirrored glass that reflects iridescent colours.
Louis Vuitton fans will find exactly what they're looking for here, as the shop offers luggage, leather goods, accessories, ready-to-wear clothing, shoes, watches, fine jewellery and even fragrances.
The Tokyo branch of Le Café V is the world's second Louis Vuitton café and is on the shop's seventh floor. From what we’ve seen at Le Café V in Osaka, expect decadent desserts made with seasonal ingredients alongside classic savoury options like sandwiches. Like the café in Osaka, the menu is created by Yosuke Suga, from Tokyo’s Sugalabo restaurant. For an idea of what's on the menu, check out Le Café V's official Instagram.
