When it comes to fashion, Japan has some of the most diverse collaborations, like the recent Undercover x GU collection and Haruki Murakami’s Uniqlo T-shirts. Even dumpling fans now have their very own fashion collection. That’s right – you can style yourself in trendy gyoza-wear made by renowned dumpling chain Gyoza no Ohsho with apparel line Rageblue.
The fashionable collaboration includes clothing, accessories and a lineup of miscellaneous goods that would make a great gift or souvenir for any gyoza lover. This isn’t typical branded merch, either – the items feature original illustrations or photos by three different Japanese designers.
All the clothing is unisex and the range includes printed T-shirts (¥4,290), printed collared shirts (¥5,390), shorts (¥5,390) and track pants (¥6,490).
As for accessories, there are beach sandals (¥2,750), bucket hats (¥3,190), socks (¥1,100), iPhone cases (¥2,200), and tote bags (¥3,190) to add to the entire look.
If gyoza clothes and accessories aren’t enough, then go for some of the quirkier items like a home draft beer tap (¥8,690) with matching beer glasses (¥2,200 each), or you can opt for a plush gyoza cushion (¥3,190) for your bed or couch.
To take your love of gyoza to the next level, there will also be a special Instagram filter available through Rageblue's official Instagram account, where you can take a selfie surrounded by plates full of gyoza.
Online pre-orders are already open for T-shirts, but the entire collection plus the Instagram filter will go on sale from Friday April 23 at Rageblue stores nationwide as well as online and through Zozotown. For more details on the collection, visit here.
