The anticipation continues to grow as we’re now less than a month away from the opening of Time Out Market Osaka. Ahead of the grand opening on March 21, the Market has finally shared the last four culinary talents who will be joining the already impressive roster of chefs, restaurateurs and local favourites in this vibrant culinary hub at Grand Green Osaka.
Once open, the Market will feature a total of 17 kitchens, giving visitors plenty of delicious options to choose from throughout the day. In addition to the great food on offer, the Market will showcase an exciting bar programme and numerous cultural experiences courtesy of local Kansai talents.
Complementing the 17 food concepts will be two bars offering premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. This includes a range of draft beer, wine, Japanese sake from the Kansai region, and an extensive selection of Japanese whisky. There’ll also be fun Osaka-themed cocktails, mocktails, soft drinks and smoothies.
Some of the cultural experiences on offer will include year-round entertainment featuring local DJs, live bands and musicians. There'll also be a number of family-friendly activities, art displays and interactive sessions that highlight Osaka's rich cultural heritage.
Looking forward to visiting the Market already? Here are the final four culinary talents joining Time Out Market Osaka.

#Nikutoieba Matsuda
Following its popular locations in Nara and Osaka, this wagyu kappo restaurant will be sharing its incredible beef dishes at Time Out Market Osaka. Owner Masashi Masuda hopes to share the restaurant's five distinctive methods of Japanese cuisine that allow you to try beef prepared raw, boiled, grilled, dried and steamed. Highlights from the menu include meat sushi, sukiyaki, steak, and katsu sandwiches.

Kankokushokudo Iru
Get a taste of legendary female chef Park Sam-sun's incredible Korean cuisine – including her classic ginseng chicken soup, a speciality from her Kanmi Ichi restaurant in Osaka’s Tsuruhashi neighbourhood. Pair the nourishing soup with a drink and a variety of side dishes such as kimchi and pancakes – all created from Chef Park's original recipes.

Mel Coffee Roasters
This popular coffee shop and roaster from Osaka's Shinmachi is known for attracting incredibly long queues of coffee connoisseurs hoping to get a taste of freshly roasted beans. Mel is known for its carefully prepared drip coffee beans, which are roasted according to the season with adjustments made to the recipes depending on the humidity. Enjoy drip varieties sourced from countries like Kenya and Ethiopia, as well as single-origin lattes made with floral Geisha beans. The shop also offers a selection of pastries.

Gion Tokuya
Last but not least, Time Out Market will be featuring Osaka’s first outpost of this highly regarded dessert shop from Kyoto. Specialising in Kyoto-style kakigori shaved ice, Gion Tokuya pride themselves in crafting sweets from high-quality ingredients including special Uji Kintoki matcha and homemade bean paste. The shop is also famous for its Honwarabi mochi, made by kneading Honwarabi flour and wasanbon sugar together.
