English indie band Toy returns to Tokyo after six years for a live performance on April 16 at Shinjuku’s Marz. The band, a purveyor of psychedelic rock music that also takes inspiration from post punk, acid, and folk music, found an audience early in Japan, performing at Summer Sonic Festival less than two years after its debut. Rated as one of the 100 bands to listen to now, the band has found a following even among other rock bands across the world. The performance at Marz will be opened by up-and-coming Japanese dream pop band Luby Sparks.
