The Persuasions

The reigning kings of traditional a cappella pop since the early ’60s, the Persuasions have tackled everything from blues and gospel to the songbooks of Frank Zappa and the Grateful Dead. Although they're down to only one original member (Jayotis Washington) after the May 2017 passing of legendary bass singer Jimmy Hayes, the group should still be well worth catching over these three nights at the Cotton Club.
