[UPDATE: Oct 11] Due to Typhoon Hagibis, expected to bring strong wind and heavy rain to Tokyo the weekend of Oct 12-13, the event has been cancelled.
Music should not just be enjoyed in a confined space but as part of a larger natural environment. That is the aim of the Park Ambient music festival, happening at the Zou-no-Hana Park in Yokohama. Aside from a sound installation featuring performance by a diverse set of musicians including pianists, DJs and even radio talk show hosts, the festival will also include family-friendly activities. There will be a café, hammocks, kids’ workshops and mobile libraries to keep everyone entertained for hours.
