Originating in Montreal, where the festival is still held every year in late May and early June, Mutek is a multi-dimensional celebration of ambitious electronic music, digital art and a wide range of creative activities that have emerged around these two main themes. Now making its second excursion to Tokyo, Mutek will be take place at Odaiba's Miraikan and Womb in Shibuya, with the list of visiting stars including Border Community boss James Holden, the consistently innovative Monolake (aka Robert Henke), art unit Nonotak (Noemi Schipfer and Takami Nakamoto) and pianist Francesco Tristano.
