The acoustics at this huge convention complex in Chiba City are generally bad, the place is impersonal and it’s some distance from downtown Tokyo. Still, it’s the home of the Summer Sonic rockfest, and big bands such as the Prodigy have entertained full houses here.

Tokyo Auto Salon 2025

Auto enthusiasts are in for a treat as the world's largest custom car show unfurls at Makuhari Messe this weekend. Honda, Nissan and Subaru are just a few of the major automakers due to unveil concept cars and customised versions of their regular models at Tokyo Auto Salon 2025, which this year is taking over the entire Messe complex.
