Calling themselves 'three gentle souls from Tel Aviv trying to bring the funk to the desert', Buttering Trio draw on the contemporary neo-soul scene in the US and Australia while mixing Mediterranean and Middle Eastern influences into their smoky, bass-heavy, occasionally dreamlike sound that's already been praised by everyone from Gilles Peterson to Snoop Dogg. They'll be making their Japan debut at WWW alongside groovy local up-and-comers Arµ-2, Tajima Hal and Melraw.
